Antique Wilfred Professional Marcell Made In Germany Curling Iron. Condition is Used. This belonged to my mother who in the 30's was a "Hairdresser" and this was part of her supplies. As a little girl I remember her putting on the gas burner and holding this curling iron over it to get hot , testing the heat by putting it close to her mouth (she knew the perfect temp) and diving into my hair to create these awful marcel waves before i went to a party. As a teen ager g...oing to a party with Marcel waves was not cool and and had to indure some ribbing from my friends. I am now in my 70's and still have this in my possession and am parting with them along with the memories. Hopefully this will live on and Marcel waves come back into fashion
