The item for sale is an antique quack medicine advertising handbill / circular with its original mailing envelope / cover made circa 1895.
The printed advertising at the top reads in part : " Keep Your Blood Pure, For the Blood is the Life. Dr. Dutton's Vegetable Discovery, The World Famous Blood Mixture."
The printed address on the envelope reads : "Horace L. Fairchild, M.D. Sole Proprietor Dr. T. A. Dr. Dutton's Vegetable Discovery, New Br...unswick, NJ."
The envelope is addressed to : "A. E. Shoemaker Tennallytown, D.C."
The handbill measures 9 1/2 X 6 inches and is in good condition aside from age toning and mailing folds.
The envelope measures 6 X 3 1/4 inches and is in good / fair condition due to age toning, bends in the corners, smudges, creases, and soiling.
