Here is a very early german wag on the wall clock, and it is special for having wooden front and back plates. It has its original headpiece and runs with two large wonderful 'bullet' shape weights. It measures 25 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches and has a 5 1/4 inch diameter porcelain roman numeral dial. There are serpentine shape columns on all four sides of the front door which is very interesting, and the pendulum swings below the case. There are finials on the crest and also the base of the clock. It has been in storage for many years, so probably should be serviced and adjusted, but it is a beautiful original early german wag clock. I purchased it from a Texas WWII Military, Vet who purchased all of his clocks when stationed in Germany. I purchased their complete collection of german clocks and will be offering them in the next few weeks. It is a nice early german wag on the wall clock for displaying in your home.
