Rare CLEAR STRAIGHT SIDED HAND BLOWN COCA COLA CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND SODA BOTTLE

*** ***** ******************** ***** ***Up for sale here is a very rare clear slug plated version of the Coca-Cola soda bottle from Cumberland, Maryland. I have not seen this version before. Bottle is hand blown and should date around 1905 to 1910. The embossing is very crisp and easy to read. *It is nicely embossed within a circle slug, as it reads... ~ "THIS BOTTLE IS / PROPERTY OF / THE / COCA COLA / BOT WKS / CUMBERLAND MD". The lettering is really crammed in there, and looks neat as it is. It reads on the lower heel ~ "Registered". The base is embossed ~ "Coca Cola", in block lettering. On the lower reverse heel it reads ~ "This Bottle / Not To Be Sold". Bottle has seen barely any use or case wear. No chips, pings or dings. The old clear glass has some nice light whittling to it as well, and will sun purple over time, if left exposed. This soda bottle measures 8 1/8 inches tall, and 2 3/8 inches in diameter.
