Elgin Pocket Watch, 12s, 15j, 10K Gold Filled Keystone Case, Vintage 1937 . Condition is Pre-owned. In working Condition. Keeps accurate Time! Serial number 36362321. Includes a black leather carry strap.
This Elgin Pocket watch works great and is one of my every day carry watches. I am selling it because I have a duplicate of this watch style in my collection. I have carried the watch every day for the last two weeks to test it before listing just to make sure that it is in per...fect working condition. I have recently cleaned and lightly oiled the movement within the last few months. I have no issues with this watch. The movement is very clean. It winds great, runs well, and keeps accurate time! Would be a great watch for anyone who is looking to carry regularly or add to their collection.
There are a few cosmetic issues with the watch case and face. I will make sure to describe the condition as thoroughly as I can.The case shows light scratching from being used over the years. I have lightly polished the case so it is shiny and reflective. There are not any major wear marks on the case. There is a dent in the back cover of the case. There is also small dent on the side of the case around the 5 o'clock area (indicated by an arrow in one of the pictures). The front crystal is scratched and worn from years of carry. The dial has a few blemishes (visible in pictures). All of the cosmetic issues are common due to the watch's age and were there before the watch was in my possession. The cosmetic issues do not affect the accuracy or function of the watch. All of my pictures show the quality of the watch.
