Vintage GarciaMitchell 300 Open Face Spinning fishing reel GCDescription.Made in France. For your consideration a very clean vintage Garcia Mitchell 300 fishingreel. A three screw egg shape body blackopen face. The S/N is unreadable on the bottom ofthe foot. Weight11.2oz. Gear ratio by counting therevolution of the rotor turns per 1 turn of the handle, looks to be a fast 3.8:1. Anti-lock butterfly chrome on/off lever. Throwwith the right hand and retrieve with t...he left. Drag knob on top of spool (do not forget to set drag to your liking, itis currently set to a low setting). Currentlyon a shallow spool, new Stren 10lb test monofilament line spooled. Line capacity 12lb/130yrds. All original Mitchell Garcia parts. Sorry no box or manual. . ConditionReel has been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, serviced andcarefully put back together. Reel is fullyoperational, smooth and tight. Minor signsof paint nicks and rub marks here and there. Still has 85% paint coverage. Bailwill open and snapped close every time. Pleaselooks at pictures closely they are part of my description. You will geteverything in pictures.
