We are selling the tiki mug collection of a dear friend who passed away in April. We are working our way through several hundred pieces that were the culmination of a couple decades worth of collecting. Most of these mugs came from bars he had visited in his travels, tiki temples of yore, or are limited edition runs by current designers/makers including Tiki Diablo, Eekum Bookum, Tiki Tony, Crazy Al and others. 10% of the proceeds from these auctions will directly benefit the Fraternal Order of Moai and their charitable work for the people of Easter Island. This was the first mug in the Crazy Al Tiki Gallery Line. Released in 2004, it is a very faithful rendition of a tiki carved by Crazy Al Evans back in September 1998. This is his Tiki #13, also known as the "Keeper of the Charm" tiki. Crazy Al sculpted this mug himself and it was produced by Tiki Farm. The tiki is cupping a small tiki charm in his hands. Marked "c AL Evans" “9/98” "#13" on the back. Includes original autographed and hand numbered info card. The bottom of the mug is marked 209/250.
