Vintage John Wayne - American "Symbol of the West" doll by iconic doll maker Effanbee. This is the first in the Legend Series.
Doll is in new condition, but seems to have been removed from the box (there is a twist tie holding him in to the packaging that seems non original to me). His foot is also pulled out of the plastic tie that secures the doll to the bottom of the box. He has the original hang tag on his wrist. There is a hat and gun in the box with him, but both pieces ...are loose and unwrapped. There is some very minor damage to the hat (small creases- see photos). They are also in like new condition. Uniform is bright and unfaded. A great piece!
There is some damage to the box including tearing, fading, scuffs, etc. See photos. Keep in mind it is a vintage item and not sold in brand new condition. I did not see any major visible flaws to the doll itself, but it is sold as is. Please see photos for additional details as I cannot offer returns.
