RARE 1/4 PLATE FEMALE OCCUPATIONAL TINTYPE - HOUSE MAID / SERVANT WEARING APRON - You are considering a very nice quarter plate tintype of a maid or house servant. She wears an unstated dress with her work apron. Female occupational images are hardly ever captured on this larger size plate. She is being sold without a case. She comes in her original glass, mat and preserver. A great slice of life image for any 19th Century collector. Good luck to my winner.CONDITION: Please view m...y detailed photos for the actual condition of this cased image and as part of my description. The quarter plate contains superb contrast, tonal range and beautiful sharpness. The image does not have a case. The mat and preserver are in excellent antique condition as well. The lines you see over the image are from the original cover glass. A very nice larger size occupational tintype. I will carefully package this item to the winner.
