For auction is an superbly beautiful 1930's high quality Art Deco necklace of 38 graduated Catalin Bakelite beads with a total weight of 90 grams and at 23.5 inches or 60cm make a clear fashion statement. I cannot see any damage or scratches and very little evidence of wear on the Catalin which is as shiny as it was way back in the 1930's. This may well be Faturan for as a material, it displays an extreme example of characteristics common to most phenolics although the piece is clear...ly of Art Deco origin.
