This beautiful vintage wooden music box was made in Western Germany. The back sticker says, “Original Deichert Musical Box Made in Western Germany Ballerina Copyright Sign.” An additional sticker says, “Superstar Switzerland Dr. Zhivago.” The wood is lovely with inlayed flowers (light and dark) and leaves. The shape of this music box is elegant with rounded sides. The inside of the box is lined with a cranberry colored velvet. Measuring approximately 6 and 1/2” in length, 5�...� wide, 2 and 3/4” deep, and weighing 15.8 ounces, this keepsake box is adequate for holding special jewelry. The Swiss musical movement works perfectly and plays beautifully! Also, the key is sitting in the keyhole ready for unlocking! This lovingly used item is in very good condition.
