In 1969, my mother worked in the offices of a financial firm on Chicago’s Lasalle Street. She was excited to be part of the thousands showering ticker tape on the celebrated astronauts. (An estimated 2 million people lined the downtown parade route.)
She also had the presence of mind to save a complete roll of the tape with the special message of that date.
You are bidding on that rare, historic roll of tape. The tape is complete and clean. There are no rips or stains.
