Up for sale is a smaller (younger) thriving, CHOICE Ariocarpus Fissuratus Cactus. This is the ‘Godzilla’ cultivar. I included several photos of the exact plant for sale to review. The "Godzilla" has been probably developed by Japanese growers from Ariocarpus fissuratus, and there are several slightly different types in circulation. The strongly structured surface and the deep colour of the plants are typical, but greener or woollier plants are in the variation range of this cultivar....This plant is being sold potted as shown in a high-end all mineral substrate with added limestone, which isn’t cheap. Bonus for the buyer!!This is a high grade and choice select plant (Very hard to come across) from my collection that I am willing to sell. I included several photos trying to show its nice shape/growth pattern. Although smaller, I love the rough texturing of the tubercles. This species is native to Northen Mexico and Texas, often found individually or in small groups. This plant is known by many names including “Living Rock”, “False Peyote”, etc.A. fissuratus is naturally camouflaged in its habitat, making it difficult to spot. This plant produces pinkish flowers which bloom in October and early November. As most of you may already know, this species grows a larger structure below the soil with only the top rosette visible. The caudex under the soil tends to be largef and robust. This is a very nice specimen with a nicely developed head and tubercles. This specimen is healthy and growing well, although slowly as expected with this species. The plant is growing in a 3.25” diameter square pot as seen in the photos. The specimen itself is aprox. 1.00” (Just about) across in diameter. Again, the plant is thriving and doing very well. As you can see in the photos, the shape and texturing of the plant is really nice. This plant has great potential as it matures further and its shape becomes even more well developed. I included several pictures from different angles and lighting positions to show the growth and nice overall shape. I am selling the exact plant shown in all of the photos. I grow my plants in direct sun with very little afternoon sun. I think it is best to protect them from continually afternoon sun with some shading. This plant would make a very nice addition to anyone's more rare and unusual cactus/succulent collection. I will ship the plant in the pot as shown to protect the roots and to also reduce the stress on the plant during shipping as shown in all photos. I do not ship internationally. However, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are Ok.Thanks for looking and happy growing!
