This piece has the most wonderful sheen! Beautiful vintage gold (silk?) satin fabric. It has been a long time since I regularly did a burn test on fabric. You burn a tiny snippet and identify the fabric by ash or lack of it and smell. I might try with some threads of this. Will update if I do. It is rich and that sheen! And so so soft, I hate to touch it because I don't want to snag it. The piece is almost 5 yards, over 4 3/4, and 27 inches wide. Very heavy. It has been stored fo...r a long time and smells like it. I didn't notice them, but you might find some storage spots. I didn't open the fabric all the way out. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Amazing fabric!
