This is a superb large Chinese green and white bowl with the prunus flower decoration of which:During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century. Dates about c1880s.Well marked underneath.Of a chinese origin.a large bowl with its wonderful prunus decoration around the circumference externally & internally.Pottery, china.Height of about 5.25inches.Max overall dia of about 12.25inches.Dia of base of about 5.25inches.Condition: Cons...idering the age: the overall condition is good and is subject to:has a hairline crack which has had three staples inserted along the line.has a further hairline opposite.has a chip under the glaze to the base edge, which is from time of manufacture.
