This is the push button and back plate for a door bell. The push button is made of off-white colored plastic. The back plate is made of metal with a hammered finish and a dark, almost black patina. Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare.The back plate measures approximately 5 1/8 x 3 inches. The distance between the two mounting screw holes is about 2 1/2 inches.This item is unused and comes with its original box.&nb...sp; The box measures approximately 6 3/8 x 3 3/4 x 1 1/8 inches. The box has some bending and slight wear to the edges and corners and overall is in good condition.The box states that this push button was made by the American Art Metal Works located in Daly City, California (just outside of San Francisco). This push button is in excellent, unused condition with no damage or problems.
