This is a Ansonia Bee Clock made in New York from 1878 to 1900 this one has the more expensive enamel and ormolu dials instead of the printed paper good for age , dial is printed around bottom Ansonia New York U.S.A the movement is very good has been cleaned no chewed up teeth and is great to hear it perform, winds up perfect hand change firm, runs 48 hours keeps good time will work in any position as stated on tin has its original peg leg feet and brass... screws holding movement in case bevelled glass perfect no chips or scratches the nicol plated case is brilliant no dents or baldy areas This was one of the first designer tins advertising the clock and it winning a medal in the Paris Exhibition1878 plus needs no key and works in all positions, all the paintwork is good and is a little antique itself so you have 2 collectable items
