Vintage Simonds 27 " Miter Box Saw For Millers Falls Langdon - INV108

You are looking at a vintage 27" X 4 1/2" miter box back saw for a Millers Falls Langdon miter box. This saw was made in the USA by Simonds Steel Co. It is faintly marked on the face of the blade with the Simonds branding, and the Millers Falls logo and branding. This saw features a 1" folded steel back support for stiffness, and 11 points per inch for a nice cut, with all the teeth intact and in good condition. The steel is clean and the saw sights nice and straight.The stained hardwo...od handle has no splits or cracks but does show usage and finish wear. It has the initials "S E F" stamped  the face from a previous owner. It is held tight with three brass saw nuts, one of which holds the "Warranted Superior" spread eagle medallion.
