ITEM DESCRIPTIONThis listing is for a rare pair of new Manchester United , player issue away strip socks during their 2008-2009 season then reverted to their 3rd strip socks in season 2009-2010.The socks are basically White with Navy Blue coloured trimmings.The main body of the sock is White in colour.The outer side of the socks has a thin Navy Blue coloured stripe , travelling down the sock in a vertical fashion and knitted into the pattern.The front of the sock has a Navy Blue colour...ed Nike Swoosh logo knitted into the sockThe rear mid section of the sock displays Manchester United's club initials ' MUFC ' which is likewise applied in Navy Blue coloured threading.The items are finished in the usual superior Player issue cushion sole styling with reinforced heel and finished in light grey and white.The right sock has the letter ' R ' in Navy Blue lettering knitted into the upper toe area.In a similar fashion the left sock has the corresponding letter ' L ' knitted into the upper toe section in Navy Blue letteringThe size of the socks ( In this case L for Large ) is knitted in Navy Blue threading into the soleThe socks come in a size Adult's Large which fits a U.K. shoe size between a 7.5 and 11.5 ( European Size 42-47 USA Size 8 1/2 to 12 1/2 ).
