Extremely rare first-of-the-first 1977 STAR WARS Style A posters out there...estimated in the low teens!! Star Wars Style A Rolled US One Sheet 77/21-0 "First Of The First" Printing PMS Printers proof with NO PG Ratings Box, trimmed down to the 27x41 size. Proof of originality:
- No hair on Luke's belt
- 27x41 size
- GAU Logo cut off and 3rd line of text missing
- No PG ratings box **If you look on the cinemasterpiece website you will see that they have 2 original print...ers proof posters that each have the exact same details as mine:

The only exception is that their poster is 28x41 because the left edge has been un-trimmed. This PMS (Pantone Matching System) printers proof version with the NSS# 77/21-0 is the first-of-the-first posters to be printed. Apparently during the very first printing run of the proof posters the plates were mis-aligned, and because of the mis-aligned plates the GAU logo was cut off, and there should be 3 lines of text to the right of the GAU logo, but only 2 lines were printed. the problem was discovered, the plates were fixed and they went on their way and printed the first printers proof editions of the Star Wars Style A. Only a small amount of these PMS color versions were printed then a decision was made to change to the standard CMYK color printing process for the subsequent print run. Making the PMS printers proof much rarer than the standard CMYK proof. It is unused, well preserved. Very very minor edge wear. This would a great addition to your Star Wars poster collection.
