Offered here directly from the estate of Fritz Pollards parents, this is a set of two vintage autographs from the rare Football Hall of Famer. First is an envelope from a letter he sent to his parents while he was still a student at Brown Univeristy dated 1918. Envelope has his pre-printed address on the back and on the front in signing the envelope to his mother, he has autographed it with an exceptional ink example of his handwriting. Perhaps some DNA can be pulled from the envelope ...he licked and we can clone him for the future (joke). In all seriousness, this is an important piece that the famous football star held in his hands from about the time he was getting into trouble at school and being forced to leave! The other item in this lot is a loving card he sent his mother in which he has signed the card at the bottom with his first name. A rare set of items from the Pollard estate and the lot will come with some other items of prvenance from the Pollard family as well!
