Original Description:
This extremely rare base will accommodate an 18-20'' Duffner and Kimberly shade. It appears to have been polished years ago. It is not lacquered, so if you wish to put a patina on the metal, you won't have to strip off the finish. It is quite heavy as it has an iron weight on the bottom. The claw feet are a nice touch. It does have a separation in the metal as pictured. It does not have the original finial. It has been recently rewired and it retains its original sockets and pulls, We ...want to be accurate. With what is wrong with it is minor compared to what you get with this extraordinary base. We guarantee that this is a Duffner and Kimberly table lamp base and worth owning. The last two pictures show the slight crack in the base
