THIS EARLY FIRST ISSUE PRESSING HAS THE A SIDE PUBLISHING IS CREDITED ONLY TO " Concertone ". LATER ISSUES HAD THE PRINT " Concertone Songs Inc. ". !!) ONLY 1000 FIRST ISSUES OF THIS RECORD WERE PRESSED BY RCA RECORDS FOR THE INITIAL APRIL 1, 1963 PRESSING OF THIS RECORD! THESE PRESSINGS ARE SCARCER THAN THE U.S. BEATLES ' VE...E JAY 498 ' RECORDS! IF ENCOUNTERED AT ALL, MOST ARE IN ROUGH CONDITION. THIS IS ACTUALLY A VERY NICE EXAMPLE! ONE OF THE BEST THERE IS! **Again, I can't impress enough how rare this early pressing is. ALSO THIS VERY FIRST ISSUE 45 HAS " NO SUFFIX " NUMBER TO THE RECORD NUMBER IN THE TRAIL OFF AREA OF BOTH SIDES. IT IS PRINTED SIMPLY AS " 7XCE-17217 " AND " 7XCE-17218 ". AS SUCH, THIS IS ONE OF THE WORLD'S RAREST BEATLES RECORDS AND ONE OF THE EARLIEST NORTH AMERICAN BEATLES RECORDS MADE! IT CAME SHORTLY AFTER THE U.S. 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' VJ 498 AND THE CANADIAN FIRST ISSUE ' LOVE ME DO ' 45! IT IS EQUALLY AS RARE AS THE EARLY ' LOVE ME DO ' 45 AND SCARCER THAN THE U.S. VJ 498! CONDITION OF THIS EXAMPLE IS VG+ ON THE VINYL AND NEAR MINT- ON THE LABELS. VERY VERY HARD TO SEE FAINT PEN NUMBERS ON THE LABELS. B-SIDE LABEL HAS TINY FACTORY GLUE LINE ON THE LABEL. On Aug-23-20 at 20:07:40 PDT, seller added the following information:NOTE: According to Capitol Records of Canada president (Paul White), although this early issue 45 was pressed to 1000 copies. Less than 200 copies actually sold commercially in the stores making this record all that much scarcer. The remainders whereabouts were not known for exact sure, but it's almost certain they were recycled into other Capitol Artists Pressings from the time. The same stampers were used for later issues, but of course, the labels were changed on the later issues making this first version 45 forever distinguishable from all others. (Thanks to Canadian Beatles Records historian, Fred Young for this valuable information.)
