1936 TEXAS CENTENNIAL EXPOSITION JAPANESE RICE PAPER UMBRELLA.
The handle and support are made of wood, the covering is rice paper, it has a couple of small rips in the paper. The wood is all in good condition and the umbrella opens and closes properly. A neat piece of history.
