You are looking at an EXTREMELY RARE 1939 University of Iowa Hawkeyes vs Notre Dame Football Program. This was the game that Nile Kinnick scored the winning touchdown and the Hawkeyes beat the Irish 7-6 and won him the Heisman. A bronzed statue of that play is inside the South Endzone in Kinnick Stadium. This is probably one of the most sought after programs out there for Iowa Collectors. Dr. Eddie Anderson was the famed coach of the 1939 Ironmen Footb...all Squad that had guys like Nile Kinnick, Al Couppee, Mike Enich, and others. I am THRILLED to be offering such a high end collectible. The program is in good shape for its age. Normal wear on a program this old. The staples are tight. Only thing I see is a couple pieces of tape on the staples inside on the center roster page. I think whomever owned it did it as a caution as most come away from the staples right there. Hard to find in any condition. Please see pictures for details. I guarantee you this would be the centerpiece to any Iowa Hawkeye or Nile Kinnick collection.
