For sale is a spectacular example of CD player engineering. Lush, dynamic sound and well built. I just pulled this from my Sonographe room.The Sonographe SD-22 CD player (made by Conrad Johnson) is a heavily modded Magnovox / Philips unit which were some of the best lasers and DAC's on the market back then.
There's an easy to find Stereophile article written on this unit. Just Google the make and model and you will find it.
The metal front display, playback and sound are all exce...llent. No skipping, jitter, etc. The case and custom oak panels are in very good condition.
You'll be hard pressed to find a better one of these out there.
