Rare Vintage Flirty Googly Eyed Dedo Doll ~Little Red Riding Hood~ Made in Italy
This adorable 10" hard plastic doll is jointed at neck, arms and legs and stands on her own without a doll stand. She wears her original vividly colored "Red Riding Hood" outfit and has painted red shoes. Her hand painted features are in great condition and her very large blue googly eyes are clear and bright. There is a slight paint flake in the lower corner of her right eye, a couple... of paint flakes to her left shoe, a couple small red paint marks on the back of her left wrist and paint imperfections to the back of the right leg and neck as pictured. These flaws are quite common with these hand painted dolls from the 1950's but does not distract from the beauty of this doll. The back of her neck is marked "Made in Italy ~ Brev" and her left wrist has a string that probably held the original hang tag. A wonderful very hard to find Italian Dedo doll ready to display and enjoy.
