Very rare L Barral Bartali Le Roi des Grimpeurs brake levers. The lever on the left, in the main image has had incorrect replacement screws put in it at some point in its life please see images. The lever that has been fitted with the incorrect screws has some damage to the internal section, my guess is it was damaged at some point in the past and rather than stop using the lever they just fitted different screws to make the lever usable. I would think that you could still use the leve...r if you used a thin washer as a spacer to protect the damaged screw holes (please see images). The other lever is in good sound condition, both do have some scuff marks as can be seen in the images. Please note I have not attempted to separate the lever from the body of the brake. All of the other parts are there including the small cable guides. The levers are in used condition as can be seen in the images. I realise that these levers are incredibly rare and that they may just be collectible or for display purposes only and as such they would make a great addition to any collection.
