Item History & Price

For your considerationis a working Eumig C-1000 Stereo DC Preamplifier in excellent used condition. All of the electrolytic capacitors in the unit have been replaced and the switches have been cleaned. Hopefully, the unit will provide many years of trouble freeservice. Most of the pots and switches are high quality sealed Alps units. Eumig was an electronics corporation based in Austria. T...hey were most noted formanufacturing movie projectors, but for a while also marketed and sold a few highend audio components. The C-1000 was manufactured from 1978-1982 and had aretail price of around $580 at that time. This unit has a solid build qualityto it. The potentiometers and switches all "feel" excellent whenoperated. It is widely reported that these units were built by Luxman.
Borrowed from another owner of the C-1000 model: " Many of the earlier, late 70s Eumig C-1000's even have a Lux factorysticker on the rear. This Eumigversion has similar, though ever so slight variations in badging and controls, thoughto my knowledge, functions and EQ setup is more or less the same. This Eumig, was obviously built by Lux (same part # LL36105) and also top quality, but ismissing that Lux factory sticker."Inputs: 2 phono; (1 moving coil & one moving magnet) 2 Tape, Tuner, and AuxResponse: 5Hz to 70 kHz +/- 3 BOutput: 1V (nominal; 5V (Max)THD: 0.015%IM: 0.015%Sensitivity: 2.5 mV (MM, 47K ohms); 250 uV (MC, 150 ohms); (phono)Overload: 200 mV (MM) 10 mV (MC) (phono)Phono EQ: 20 Hz to 20 kHz, +/- 0.5 dBBass: +/- 12 dB @ 20 HzTreble: +/- 12 - 16 dB @ 20 HzHigh Filter: 12 dB/octave above 12 or 8 kHz (switchable)
