Absolutely fabulous hand-written letter from Jerry Lewis to wife Patti Lewis. Dated stamped Jan, 28, 1954, 6pm this great letter was written on personalized stationary from The Plaza, At Plaza Circle overlooking beautiful Central Park. This letter was written in blue and comes with the original envelope. Please see accompanying photos for reference. Mr. Lewis starts his letter by saying "My darling Patrick: It seems fairly silly writing you after just about saying e...verything on the phone-" Mr. Lewis had also written "Jan. 27 3A.M." on the top right corner of the letter.He then ends the letter by saying "I'm yours darling forever and always - Your Comic Jerry. Kiss my sons for me (God Bless them)"The 3rd page of the letter is a poem Jerry wrote for Patti, titled "The Girl In My Life"Please see accompanying photos for reference, and to read the rest of the letter. This heart-felt letter is in great condition. No smudges, however there is a tear to the top of the first page, and normal paper wear to this 66 year old item. Yellowing to the stationary can be seen in the photos accompanying the listing, as well as deeper yellowing to the envelope.
