Hi and welcome to my auctions. I am a model maker and bookseller with over 30 years experience. I specialise in aviation, maritime, military and militaria reference books aimed at model makers, collectors and enthusiasts. I try and list at least once a month, so please add me to your 'favourite sellers' list. VERY RARE!
Superb book! The fourth in four volumes on the Schwalbe from renowned experts J.Richard Smith & Eddie J. Creek. Like all the other books in the Classic Publications range, the emphasis is on quality. This is the first edition published in 2000.
This volume is VERY difficult to find and can be advertised for enormous sums from online bookshops!
The page numbers in this series run sequentially, therefore the book has page numbers 680-882
202 page A-4 oversized hardback book absolutely jam-packed with technical information, photos and drawings - you will not find a finer series of books on the Me 262 written in English.
This volume deals fully with the final death throes of the Third Reich, and the use of the 262 in the last months of the War, plus extensive testing of captured aircraft after the War's end has everything you need to know. A huge number of fantastic photos of Me 262's in every possible pose, excellent drawings and technical diagrams and colour plates - a real labour of love!
Really, an essential purchase for Luftwaffe & Jet aircraft aficionados.
