CLEVELAND KING H.N. WHITE Alto Saxophone. Mid-late 60's. Daily player and sounds amazing.Free delivery between Birmingham, Alabama area and up to Nashville, TN. I travel up to Nashvile all the time.NOTE: Berg Larsen box and/or metal mouthpiece is already sold/NOT included. The Berg was insane! You could peel the paint off the wall with it! Only the original King student mouthpiece (#2) as well as the Selmer Goldentone moutpiece (#3) and solid Brass l...igature are included. The Selmer Goldentone sounds amazing- very warm and mellow.Includes 4 new Hemke 2.5 reeds (two months old and never used).Serial #: C 227521 dates it to mid to late 1960's. Extremely well cared for and only a couple small dings at bottom area. Bell is damage free and finish is very good for a vintage sax. All keys and mother of pearl buttons/inlay are original and 100% intact. Neck has a few small dings but seals excellent at the neck to body joint and the key moves perfectly.Action is very nice and it plays well, but it needs to be serviced by a pro to really get the most out of it. Replace a couple pads and adjust a spring or two- per your requirements, and it'll be ready to play, or build out as you see fit.Original Case is solid and in very good vintage cond. Latches work well, but no keys. Exterior case tolex and leather ends in very good cond., and with no major tears or separation. Interior is plush blue/green and all hinges and snaps are at 100%. Interior is a 9.9 outta 10. Near perfect.I played a King 613 Cleveland all through middle and part of high school, and this sax feels much faster and smoother. Not restricted and stiff like a new or student sax. Again, it plays and sounds amazing, but a quick service/run through by a pro will make a difference.Low reserve.
