The item for sale is an antique clock dial face which due to age, FAULTS and use is being sold as seen so please do study the photos as they form part of the description and to to satisfy yourself what you will be receiving - NO RETURNS ON THIS ONE WHATSOEVER.This does have a lot of wear, staining, tarnishing etc - there is cracking ?? on the back top section which is not seen from the front.The coke can seen in the photos is not part of the sale and is only there to give a comparison ...in size.
The back looks like it has been hand hammered with a lot of hammer marks seen - on the back is engraved what looks like Nov r 1833 - also on the back is scribed a lot of writing which is hard to read.The face is 184mm wide and 250mm tall from the bottom to the top of the dome and down the sides is 183mm - the centre of the middle hole is 92mm from its centre to the bottom edge and the lower hole is 60mm from its centre to the bottom edge - all measurements approx.Engraved to the front of the top dome is Thos Wright Boking Efsex (Essex).Will be posted using a cardboard box.
Overseas buyers Due to the delays caused by the your customs departments checking every item thoroughly as it comes into your country your items are taking a lot longer to arrive - apologies for this but the circumstances are beyond my control. All items are sold as seen and carry no warranty unless stated above. Also no returns will be accepted on items marked restoration/spares and/or repairs and/or sold as seen. All payments to be made within 7 days. Postage of items is usually within 1 working day after cleared payment - large items subject to courier availability.I post most weekdays but not saturdays - if an item is purchased friday afternoon it will be posted monday (according to the press research items posted on saturday do not get sorted until monday now anyway).
