UPDATE! This item will not be relisted as there's an offer on the table so let the bidding begin! Antique late 1800- early 1900's I believe this to be J E Caldwell but the turn buttons for wick and burner have been removed and that is where the makers name would have been they have been replaced by on off switches in the conversion from oil to electric the double burner has also been removed. The decoration on the handle and arms are right however so while there's a high chance this is... J E Caldwell I can't 100% guarantee it. This lamp is huge more of a table lamp than student desk lamp tho made in the student desk lamp style it stands 21" to top of handle 26" total wide and about 10 1/2" deep. The shades are just gorgeous! They are shiny emerald green cased glass Tam O Shanter Shades with a gold wreath, torch and floral design and a white interior in excellent shape no chips cracks or roughness at rims the only thing I could find was some wear to the thin gold band around the top from being handled. Please ignore any white spots on shades that is camera glare only. Fitter measures 9 3/4" and total diameter at widest point is 10 1/2". These shades are some of the best I've seen! You can even add hurricane shades if you like. Shown with bulbs however will not be shipped with bulbs for safety reasons. Both lights work and can be turned on independently. Great patina! I gave it only a light polish so as to not remove all patina. I hate to let this one go! Shipping is going to be a flat 65.00 to the US lower 48 and I will pay the overage it will also be insured for full final bid price. Please ask any and all questions or request additional photos prior to bidding as I do not accept returns on antique/vintage/used items.
