This is a vintage woodworking, mortise scribe. Stanley brand. Item #61. All wood, even the thumb screw! The ruler on the scribe measures 6". There are a few small water spots at the 6" end of the ruler, otherwise the item is in beautiful condition. The block moves well over the ruler and the thumb screw works very well. The anchor pin is present and intact. I do not see any splits or cracks in the wood. Overall length of the scribe ...is 8-1/2". The adjustable block is 1-7/8" x 2-1/2". The ruler is 5/8" x 3/4".
