Stanley 2101 8" Bell System Brace.
These braces are built like a tank. Jaws are in nice shape. Brace has been taken apart and soaked for in Evapo-Rust and then cleaned. New 1/8” bearings have been replaced in the chuck around the jaws and in the pad, 46 total berings. Chrome plating is in good shape but there are some areas with small pitting. Ratchet cap has some flaking of the plating around the dome edges next to the knurling.Both the pad and handle have been smoothed and polis...hed, not to look like new but to feel smooth in the hand. There are a few dings or nics that are too deep to polish out.
Look closely at photos. Photos are high resolution so you should be able to see condition of tool. I tried to show any area of concern in the pictures.I spend quite a bit of time to include very detailed pictures, they are a very important part of the description.
