This vintage D-7 by Henry Disston & Sons is clean, straight, sharp & fully useable. This is a crosscut hand saw with the cover top handle and it is a straight back saw. The medallion is DISSTON *USA* with the Keystone. The plate is 26" long, it's 1-1/2" wide at the toe and 6" at the heel. I count 8 points per inch and it is stamped with a partial number 8 at the heel. The plate is 99%+ straight with minimal discoloration. There is NO RUST OR PITTING. There are no broken teeth a...nd they are still sharp. The etch is visible. The handle has wear and a couple dings but no damage or repairs. It is a cover-top handle with full length horns and it's solid and tight. It does have some loss of finish. This saw is solid and clean, it's useable right now. Otherwise, it's a great display piece or gift for the tool collector, handyman, carpenter or wood worker. I have tried to provide enough information and pictures for you to make a fair assessment of this saw. If you have any questions please ask before you bid. Thank you for looking.
