This is a sweet estate find. It was in the corner of a dark basement among endless Christmas stuff. I bought it without testing it and you can imagine my delight when it lit up and I was able to get a Denver Broncos report on a local station. This model was introduced in June, 1938 and 47, 809 were skillfully crafted. It sold for $23.50 eighty one years ago! It was state-of-the-art then, having a wireless remote for tuning, volume and turning off. The remote would not turn it on. Regre...ttably, I don't have the remote. There are 8 preset station buttons. I don't know how you set them. The third from the right gave me a station. The far right allowed me to cruise with the dial to find stations. It's missing whatever felt or feet it had and a wood corner support block has become dislodged. It's a well built, ten pound relic. See photos for details.
