My linens are hand cleaned, air dried and ironed with a light spray of starch. If I have not washed the linen, it is stated clearly in the description, and any staining, spotting, or damage will be listed. Most of my linens come from New England estate sales and they have had a previous life. I only buy what I love, and handle them gently as I prepare them for resale. Some are in perfect condition and others have had a harder life - I will always disclose any defects to the best of my ability. If I feel that I do not have the expertise to properly clean a piece of linen, I will list it as is. I consider it a privilege to pass on the exquisite work that was done in previous generations.
