Eugene Farcot Terrestrial Globe clock, Paris 1870.Globe by Emile Bertaux.Clock chimes the hours, on the hour, and chimes a single time on the half hour.Globe rotates once every 24 hours.Good working order, and keeps good time.I believe its an 8 day movement, although please don't hold me to that, becuae I've not let it run all the way down.Marked on the back as shown.About 13 1/2 inches tall, and 10 1/2 inches wide.Made of Gilt metal. Some minor marks to the globe as shown. Small ov...er painted chip on the dial, next to the right hand winding hole. Condition as shown.Comes with a key (made in England, so not original).
