Vintage Wood & Resin Monk Priest Holy Man BIRD FEEDER To Watch Over Your Flock

This auction is for one of the more unusual, but very cool items I have come across in some time.
This is a wood and maybe resin? bird feeder in the form of a monk or priest or some sort of a holy man. It’s a really cool piece.
The body is made of wood but the platform, head and hands are made of something different – like a resin or something like that. I purchased this at an estate sale. It was hanging in the basement with about 2 inches of dust on i...t. It certainly appears to be vintage but I have no idea how old it is.
The feeder is about 11 1/2 inches tall. It appears at least one arm and both hands were either broken off at one time or just crudely glued on the first time. Either way, there is exposed glue that could be trimmed off with a utility knife.
I really struggled to sell this piece I just love him. Who better than this spiritual man to watch over your gardens and birds! Thank you.
