You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE DRUG STORE ADVERTISING "DOSE GLASS", BELIEVE TOUGH TOWN , CRISP EMBOSSING , IT IS APPROXIMATELY 1 7/8" TALL SIZED Antique pharmacy PALE CLEAR-ISH GLASS COLORED / drug store dose glass once issued by drug store called " WEBB SOUER'S PHARMACY (DRUG STORE) - TABLE - DESSERT - TEA (standard marks on other side)" in 1900s era , issued for the historic town of DES MOINES, IOWABELIEVE THIS DOSE GLASS IS EARLY, ...AND TOUGHER TOWN, ORIGINAL OWNER CONSIDERED IT "SCARCE".....IT HAS CRISP EMBOSSING, AND IS LIGHT CLEAR COLORED, BUT HAS THE AGE, WOULD TURN DARKER PURPLE IF LEFT IN SUNLIGHT....HISTORIC TOWNThis is a beautiful and believe scarce old "DES MOINES" IOWA issued "DOSE GLASS" .....This comes out of a lifetime collection of Iowa dose glasses , where original owner collected dose glasses from all over state of Iowa...here is a stunning representative from "DES MOINES IOWA" in that collectionThe historic town of DES MOINES is located in POLK County Iowa...not far from Altoona and Carlisle IowaTHIS DOSE GLASS DISPLAYS WONDERFULLY, EMBOSSING IS CRISP & NICE, ..DISPLAYS WELL, NICE COLOR, VERY SHARP PC.This dose glass is what I would call a light sun purpled to clear colored glass, it stands about 1 7/8" tall ...and it is a very nice specimen, ..THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL SPECIMEN, took pictures from all angles and in different lighting conditions to show glass, ...Has the age and would likely turn darker purple if left in sunGallery pictures should show you all you need to know, took pictures from many angles.
