Vintage Marshal Wells Hardware Company double bit axe.
This is a wall hanger.
It has been cleaned, reconditioned, a new custom charred handle put in it and lacquered.
Though its been reconditioned it didnt turn out perfect and still has scratches, dings etc..
I sell all my axes as is. No returns. And as always in my listings, just consider this a rusty old beat up axe that i cleaned and fixed up a bit. Low starting price.....
The total length of axe and... handle is 36 inches.
Total weight is approximately 5 pounds 4 ounces.
The head measures approximately 9 1/4 inches from bit to bit at center.
The bits measure approximately 4 1/2 inches from tip to tip.
