This EDL angle poise lamp was made between 1930-35 and features the larger enamel shade, which is in remarkable condition, there is even a made in England label on the top arm !
As with my other lamps, I stripped it down completely, cleaned and lightly lacquered all the component parts (apart from the articulated joints which have been lightly oiled). Due to the wonderful condition of the piece, I decided to use a nickel switched lamp holder, cable retaining gland and a rather swi...sh grey fabric cable, which has turned out rather well!
I can mount the lamp on a piece of slate or oak so it’s ready to go as a desk / table lamp.
