This is a gorgeous new Mesosiderite, NWA 12949. It's got tons of iron and silicate clasts throughout this slice. It also has small flecks of olivine all over. There are several large and unique inclusions. I tried to get the detail in the pictures - this Meso has a ton going on! This stony-iron is a beautiful representation. The slice shines with a two-sided mirror polish. This meteorite is a definite display piece.This slice is 39.3 grams and is a big slice. It will include COA.
