NWA X Meteorite 44. 72g Fresh Fusion Crusted Double - Oriented Stone

Item for auction is a 44.72g individual NWA unclassified chondrite that was recently acquired in a small lot of exquisite stones. This specimen features a nice fusion crust over a flight oriented pyramidal dome shape. Leading edge is marvelous with an inclusion blowout, trailing edge is warbled convex with many dimples or depressions. The stone is 93% crusted with fairly fresh fusion crust - I don’t see these often as singletons. There are signs of rough transport as many metal blebs... have ground free of crust and can be seen as shiny blebs. I always look for the best Saharan desert material. I call this Double-Oriented because there are no distinct flow lines on either trailing or leading edge, and because there faint remnants of a rollover rim on the leading edge. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself that this is not some ugly, cracked, weathered roadfill gravel that appears on ebay regularly. This meteorite was part of a lot of top quality unclassified stones I got from Morocco last year, and prices are going up across the board because of scarcity, tighter borders and other issues that I won't discuss here. I don't buy junk, and don't expect you to either - I only sell what I myself would buy. This rock from space would make a splendid addition to any collection. The meteorite comes with a Big Kahuna Meteorites Certificate of Authenticity / Specimen Card. Scale cube in photo is 1cm on each side, and not included in sale. Big Kahuna combines shipping, and addresses must be in the English language, to facilitate customs input at US Postal Service. Non-English addresses cannot be shipped, and may incur additional fees for handling. We no longer ship to China or Italy.
