NWA X Meteorite 82. 38g Oriented Chondrite With Character

Item for auction is a 82.38g individual NWA unclassified chondrite that was recently acquired in a small lot of exquisite stones. This specimen features a nice dark desert varnished crust over a flight oriented dome shape. Leading edge is convex, trailing edge is a lumpy concave. When viewed laterally, the skirt of the leading edge is high (photos 3, 4), with the lateral edge tapering and textured with frothy fusion crust, spattering, and rollover rimming. A big ding, probably caused b...y earth impact, removed ~30% of the leading edge. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself that this is not some ugly, cracked, weathered roadfill gravel that appears on ebay regularly. This meteorite was part of a lot of top quality unclassified stones I got from Morocco last year, and prices are going up across the board because of scarcity, tighter borders and other issues that I won't discuss here. I don't buy junk, and don't expect you to either - I only sell what I myself would buy. This rock from space would make a splendid addition to any collection. The meteorite comes with a Big Kahuna Meteorites Certificate of Authenticity / Specimen Card. Scale cube in photo is 1cm on each side, and not included in sale. Big Kahuna combines shipping, and addresses must be in the English language, to facilitate customs input at US Postal Service. Non-English addresses cannot be shipped, and may incur additional fees for handling. We no longer ship to China or Italy.
