This well carved natural stone alabaster urn is late Victorian, with the all around ubiquitous acanthus leaf design undamaged...no chips or lost leaves. The only flaw to the surface are a few white marks on one side of the bottom area...see photo # 6. These could be ignored or disguised if the owner desired. It measures 11" H and 6 1/2" H at the top. NOTE that the top has a lip, which suggests it might once have been a covered urn...but clearly someone has used it for... decades to hold flowers. The weight is approx 7 pounds.
