Heather Canyon Lapidary
Wild horse magnesite comes from the mountains near Globe, Arizona. It is sometimes called wild horse turquoise, but it does not contain the copper or the blue green color of turquoise. The name comes from the colors with the chocolate brown hematite matrix and antique white plumes of magnesite that resemble a pinto wild horse. The stone is relativel...y new to the market, being introduced in the 1990s.
