Recent events, resulting from my last sale on eBay, lead me for the first time to publish this news note on my website, about online sales activity. Anyone who has accompanied me for a long, long time in these adventures of fossils, knows well that I do not engage in defamatory campaigns against or in favor of anyone. Nobody finds anything like that on me on social ne...tworks, forums or others. Personally, I have absolutely nothing against this kind of interactive social communication. It's just a matter of time or maybe because I'm a little "Neanderthal"...
The facts:
1. As many already know, about two weeks ago I decided to do an auction on eBay, of a tooth (Torvosaurus), at a symbolic price and initially accessible to everyone... the reasons for this special auction I have also already described and were even described in the ad. The auction started very animated, until a certain character appeared in the shade. That character, who calls himself in the auction world "Sniper bids", whose objective is to win the auctions, without looking at the final expenses...
2. After receiving the tooth (quickly and in perfect condition), he claims that the tooth is beautiful, but it is not what he bought... the count he made of the saws, tells him that it is not a Torvosaurus tooth and wants to be reimbursed part of the amount you paid... the tooth is not Torvosaurus, yet he wants the tooth and wants me to give him some money back (I have no idea how much...).  Absolutely fantastic...
3. Perhaps I should remind this and other gentlemen, "experts" in saws counts and other affinities of specimen classification, that things don't work that linearly... The fact that they go net and download some PDFs it does not make them, or anyone else, some Paleontologists. Why, even they, sometimes fail... how many species have not changed their names, and even their families...?
4. The most important part of the heartwood of question; The announcement was for seven days. During that time, all of gentlemen, who are very knowledgeable in the matter, did not see the mistake in the classification...? He is a member of the forum (the fossil forum), knows the great collectors who move there. They spend a great deal of time exchanging conversations about what they buy and don't buy, and no one, no one mentioned to him that the tooth might not be from Torvosaurus...? It seems to me an almost impossible fact that it was not a reason for conversation, on the forum, or other sites...Then we have the fact that all the other possible buyers, who participated in the auction. Nobody saw anything either...? Nobody made the discovery that this gentleman made...? Help!
5. Even with all these questions to explain, I advised the  gentleman to open a case on eBay (three times...). Instead of following a way of cordiality and common sense, he chose instead to soiling my name... thanks very much! Still not satisfied with what he has done, he finally gave me neutral Feedback on eBay... brave!!! "Nice tooth but not a Torvosaurus. Seller is very rude with 0 people skills". Thanks very much,  paubatt_5 (Paul Batty)!                    In this case, a process is underway on eBay, which I opened and let's see how it will end...
Conclusion; The gentleman besides a buyer, he's also a seller... from what I could see and ascertain, he's good at this type of business. Of those who buy for 100 and sell for 1000... this time it seems that they rushed and the business didn't go so well... the fact that they wanted some money in return, minimized the loss (of him...). Brave friend!
For more beat they give me, however many names they call me, it will only make me even stronger...Don't you like me as a salesman...? Don't buy. Am I rude and unreliable...? Don't buy. But please... don't bother. Stay away from me.
Thanks for your understanding, especially to those who like me...

Brief explanation...
From an abstract: It is not easy to find good dinosaur fossils, in Portugal. Many of these circumstances are due to the geographical characteristics and urban development of Portugal. Portugal, is a small country, the main fossiliferous platforms are hardly accessible and in many cases currently, completely inaccessible to collect fossils.Although the Jurassic formation of Lourinhã - (in Portugal) is similar with the formation of Morrison - (in North America), or the Formation of Tendaguru - (in Tanzania), the geography of both formations are completely different, in aspect and size. All these facts, make it very difficult and dangerous to collect and find good fossils of Dinosaur of the Upper Jurassic in Portugal...
For over 20 years I have been traveling through many sites in Portugal to collect fossils from various geological periods. Collecting Dinosaur fossils, along this coast of Portugal by the sea, with large slopes and high cliffs, is a great challenge and a high security risk. Only the most crazy ones venture out on these dangerous adventures. I am one of those few crazy who do it with great pleasure...

The work of preparation: All my fossils are prepared by me. I'm not the big expert, but I have some good enough knowledge to be able to venture into that area as well.
